Piragua Consulting was founded in the summer of 2006 to serve small businesses in need of skilled software developers. Our founder, Mike Hugo, has provided software solutions to businesses in and around the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul since 1999.
The name “Piragua” comes from the Spanish word for canoe. The name is fitting because like a canoe, Piragua Consulting can get into places others cannot - providing lightweight, agile solutions that quickly meet business needs - all while leaving no wake behind.
